Terms of use

Last updated June 2026.

JustListen is a free tool offered as is. By using it you agree to these simple terms.

Free to use

JustListen is free. There is no account and no payment. It is provided as a personal project, and it may change or be unavailable at times without notice.

Advertising

To keep JustListen free, the site may show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and personalize them, and you are asked to accept or decline before any ad script loads. How that works and the links to Google's policies are set out in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Use JustListen for lawful purposes only. Do not use it to create audio that is illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or that impersonates a real person in a deceptive way. Do not attempt to overload, scrape, or abuse the service, and do not use automated tools to generate audio at large scale. Rate limits are in place to keep the free service working for everyone.

Your content and the voices

You are responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the audio you generate. The voices are Microsoft Edge neural voices reached through a free backend. For paid commercial distribution, confirm the licensing terms for those underlying voices yourself. JustListen does not grant you rights to the voices beyond your own use of this tool.

No warranty

JustListen is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the maker of JustListen is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the tool or the audio it produces.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The updated date above will reflect any change. Continuing to use JustListen means you accept the current terms.
